The Sprinter among the Rotary Transfer Machines

Start-to-finish machining of workpieces in one clamping doesn't only mean precision. Between the loading and unloading stations on the EUBAMA S-8, it's sprinting time: with speeds of up to 100 cycles per minute, the EUBAMA S-8 is among the fastest production solutions in its class. The cycle performance is infinitely variable, from 0.6 to 15 seconds.

Various Versions

Whether you require up to 18 operations on a workpiece, radial machining or machining at both ends - the new EUBAMA S-8 is a production machine that units performance and precision thanks to the start-to-finish machining of workpieces in one clamping. If you need to machine different workpiece profiles or material diameters, the complete clamping ring plus clamping jaws can be changed without the need for an additional adjustment.

Solidity

The vertical clamping ring is equipped with a mechanical jaw clamping. The clamping force is directly changed in the clamping support through the use of exchangeable spring elements. The solidity of the new clamping ring results in higher clamping pressures and longer tool life.

Machining of Workpieces along their entire Length

EUBAMA'S recessing unit takes over the first machining operations during bar feed, workpieces can be machined along their entire length before being clamped and cut off. This special feature saves time and material.

Hydraulic Feed with NC Control

The camshaft has an electronic encoder with digital display and PLC control.

Synthetic Granite Base

With the synthetic granite base, the EUBAMA S-8 guarantees a precise machining also with thermally influence. The new, bigger base machine enables a better chip removal. The enlarged, vertical chip conveyor offers a greater cutting oil volume (450 l).

Integration of the Feed Unit

The feed unit is assembled on the machine base and is connected directly with the machine. These advantages are very useful for the installation or a remove of the machine.

Integrated Electric Cabinet

The electric cabinet is set-up laterally on the base machine. That does not only safe space, it leads also to a clearly laid-out connection structure. Cable connectors and plugs between control box and machine are now invisible and safely protected from any damage.

Flexible Control Technology

A comfortable SPS control with error messages easy to understand and digital display support the machining of the EUBAMA S-8. The machining units can be controlled via hydraulic, mechanical or CNC control.
